As I sit here in the rain, watching snow melt away my home state is on fire. Not just a little summer fire – if there were such a thing – but a the worst fire in the states recorded history.
108 people have died.
It is horrible and tragic. Words do not express how sad it must be for the people effected. And for those who are watching this event unfold who are nearer than I.

It is just terrible. Though fortunately the people I know are okay – but it is just devastating to think of the dead, injured people and animals that are also homeless! The bravery of the mainly volunteer firefighters is also amazing.
